In this category I have gathered all the wines for which I had a crush during my tastings. Sometimes it's an exceptional vintage, sometimes it's an excellent value for money, but also a wine with extraordinary taste qualities or an atypical aromatic richness.
You will find both small entry-level cuvées and great gastronomic wines. Their profiles can be totally different, light wines or on the contrary powerful wines, but they all have one factor in common: they are very well made and deserve our full attention.
- Nose: floral, fresh and tasty. Notes of white flowers, honey, white peach, with a hint of minerality.
- Palate: fine bubbles. The juice is tonic and slightly lemony. A hint of minerality on the finish.

OUR OPINION: very pretty, elegantly perfumed, with a lovely tension on the palate. I love this beautiful Pinot Blanc champagne!

- Nose: Elegant and complex. Brioche notes. Aromas of almond, lemon, candied orange with a hint of stone fruit.
- Palate: fine bubbles. The juice is invigorating, delicious and fresh. Long-lasting aromas and a lemony finish.

OUR OPINION: a beautiful blanc de blancs champagne, elegant, fresh and well-balanced. The presence of Pinot Blanc, even in very small quantities, endows this champagne with a unique pulpy and crisp texture. A real favorite!

- Nose: fresh and elegant. Notes of grenadine, pink grapefruit, honey, bread crust with a hint of spice.
- Palate: slightly mineral, nicely perfumed and full of energy. Fine bubbles. Long aromatic persistence.

OUR OPINION: a very pretty Blanc de Noirs champagne! Fresh, young, full of life and gourmet! Superb!

- Nose: delicate, fine and floral. Notes of hibiscus, raspberry and redcurrant, with a hint of blackcurrant bud.
- Palate: fluid, delicious and thirst-quenching.
Tasting date: February 2024.
OUR OPINION: a very fine rosé, elegant, fragrant and delicate. Let the wine air a little in the glass so that it expresses all its aromatic power. A gastronomic champagne, very pleasant to drink. A favorite!

- Nose: open and delicately toasted. Notes of white flowers, toasted almond, lemon, orange and kumquat.
- Palate: very tasty. Its smoothness is highlighted by a fine acidity. Long finish of candied citrus fruit.

OUR OPINION: a very fine Saint-Aubin with a rather unctuous and complex profile. Full-bodied on the palate, a delight!
- Nose: rich and intense. Notes of citrus (lemon, mandarin, pink grapefruit), white pepper, with a hint of cream and licorice.
- Palate: tasty, rich and invigorating. Long finish of pink grapefruit and tangerine.
Tasting date: January 2024.
OUR OPINION: magnificent Chassagne-Montrachet blanc, complex and richly fruity. Certainly the richest of the range, dense and aromatic. A real favorite!
- Nose: intense, rich and spicy. Notes of black pepper, red and black fruits, violets, bergamot with a hint of roasting.
- Palate: round and silky, with fine tannins. Long red-fruit finish.
Tasting date: January 2024.
OUR OPINION: magnificent! This Gevrey-Chambertin is rich, complex and elegant - I love it! Very classy!
- Nose: intense and delicious. Aromas of strawberry and blackberry coulis, with a hint of sweet spices and cardamom.
- Palate: fresh, silky and thirst-quenching. Delicious finish of red berries.

OUR OPINION: exquisite! Beautifully perfumed and tasty. A lovely complexity for this basis designation. A real favourite!
- Nose: generous and slightly creamy. Notes of lemon, white flowers, almond with a hint of candied orange.
- Palate: fresh, full and invigorating. Long citrus finish.
Tasting date: December 2023.
OUR OPINION: a top-of-the-range Bourgogne Aligoté offering great complexity and elegance. A real favorite!
- Nose: fine and elegant, almost mineral. Notes of lemon and pink grapefruit, with a hint of almond and white flowers.
- Palate: invigorating, flavoursome and thirst-quenching, with a long pink grapefruit finish.

OUR OPINION: superb! Elegant, delicate, very fresh and perfectly balanced! That delicious pink grapefruit flavour is simply divine, a real favourite!
