Although its surface does not exceed 360 ha, the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes designation covers the Rhône Valley, the Loire, the Isère, the Drôme and the Ardèche countrys. The vines grow on very different terroirs, occupying the granitic plateaus of the Rhône Stream's right bank and the sandy and alluvial soils of the left bank.
This rich mosaic of terroirs allows the winegrowers to give free rein to their creativity by producing atypical Syrah wines but also wines from extinct indigenous grape varieties such as Durezat, Mornant noir, etc.
