The Moulin-à-Vent vineyard is the most famous of the Beaujolais crus, but also the one that produces the most complete wines with a high cellar ageing potential in case of excellent vintages.
The quality and the aptitude for ageing are determined in the vineyard, by the selection of plots planted with very old vines and the limitation of their yields.
