In the vineyards along the upper course of the Loire, Sauvignon Blanc reigns supreme. Its reputation has grown steadily since the 1970s with the fashion for Sancerre wines.
This grape variety has extremely intense aromas, and when grown on the flinty soils surrounding Sancerre, it can display a complexity and finesse rarely found elsewhere.
- Nose: tasty and fresh. Notes of wild berries with a pinch of spice and blood orange.
- Palate: fluid and silky. Nice fresh, fruity juice.

OUR OPINION: a Sancerre wine like no other, seductive by its totally atypical mentholated aromas. This is a wine suitable for ageing, which needs to be decanted so it reveals its full potential. What a power!

OUR OPINION: superb! The blood orange aromas make this cuvée inimitable! In a few years, the wine will develop tertiary aromas of ripe black fruits and spices, as did the 2019 vintage. A real favorite!
