In this category I have gathered all the wines for which I had a crush during my tastings. Sometimes it's an exceptional vintage, sometimes it's an excellent value for money, but also a wine with extraordinary taste qualities or an atypical aromatic richness.
You will find both small entry-level cuvées and great gastronomic wines. Their profiles can be totally different, light wines or on the contrary powerful wines, but they all have one factor in common: they are very well made and deserve our full attention.
- Nose: delicate and floral. Light toasty and creamy notes, aromas of lemon, white grapefruit and white flowers, with a hint of mandarin and fennel.
- Palate: round, silky and invigorating, with a lemony structure that gently envelops the palate.

OUR OPINION: what a delicacy! This Saint-Aubin is so elegant, balanced and intricate. Haute couture!
- Nose: open and tasty. Notes of red fruit coulis, with a hint of spice and violet.
- Palate: elegant and supple. Delicate, barely perceptible tannins. Long red fruit finish.

OUR OPINION: superb! This Maranges 1er Cru is exquisitely delicious. It's fine, elegant and tasty. I love the velvety, delicate style of this estate's wines! A real favourite!
- Nose: floral and beautifully perfumed. Notes of lemon, citron and orange blossom water, with a hint of rose and smoked flavours.
- Palate: invigorating attack, with an enveloping, flavoursome body. Long-lasting aromatic finish.

OUR OPINION: as beautiful as ever! This Riesling is one of my favourites, and its complexity is a real treat for the palate! A sure-fire favourite...
- Nose: intense and delicious. Notes of black fruit and spices.
- Palate: supple, silky and fruity.

OUR OPINION: a fresh and delicious vintage, very good!
- Nose : intense and delicious. Notes of red and black fruit, cinnamon, with a hint of peony and black pepper.
- Palate : fleshy and smooth, with fine tannins. Red berry finish.

OUR OPINION: this vintage has been matured on slats for a shorter period than its predecessors, giving it plenty of freshness and pep. The aromatic complexity that makes it so gourmet is still there. A real favorite!

- Nose: intense and delicious. Notes of citrus fruit and sweet spices with a hint of morello cherry.
- Palate: invigorating and rich, elegant and fresh. Very fine bubbles. Grapefruit finish.

OUR OPINION: an incredible charm! This 2019 harvest champagne is almost reminiscent of a light rosé, given its colour on the one hand and its delicately spicy aromas on the other. This particularity is due to the 2019 vintage whose very ripe grapes have slightly coloured the must.

OUR OPINION: as exceptional as ever, this wine charms with its elegance and aromatic complexity, and has a lovely tension on the palate. A magical moment for lovers of tense champagnes.
