Initially known as "Coteaux du Languedoc", then renamed "Languedoc", the designation includes numerous communes in the departments of the Gard , the Hérault, the Aude and the Pyrénées Orientales.
The winegrowing activity on the Languedoc hillsides has existed for more than 2000 years, from Roman times to the present day, with a gradual evolution of production towards sweet wines or fortified wines.
The hot and dry Mediterranean climate allows for ripe tannins in red wines and roundness in white and rosé wines.
- Nose: intense. Notes of crunchy black fruits, black pepper and licorice.
- Palate: tasty and voluptuous. Very nice finish.

OUR OPINION: the tiny quantities supplied do not allow me to sacrifice a bottle for tasting. As those wines are of impeccable quality year after year, I wrote the tasting notes of the 2009 vintage as an indication.
