Alsace and Jura are two wine regions in eastern France with a growing reputation, whose bold wines are waiting to be tamed.
Jura's harsh winters imprint harshness and vivacity on its wines, while Alsace's autumns offer a mildness that are reflected in its exuberant and generous wines.
- Nose: powerful. Aromas of walnut, dried citrus peel and morel.
- Palate: elegant, rich and unctuous.
Tasting date: tasting notes of the 2014 vintage.
OUR OPINION: the tiny quantities supplied do not allow me to sacrifice a bottle for tasting. As those wines are of impeccable quality year after year, I wrote the tasting notes of the 2014 vintage as an indication.

- Nose: intense and delicately toasted. Notes of praline, almond, lemon and green apple.
- Palate: frank, tonic and lemony. Long aromatic persistence.
Tasting date: April 2023.
OUR OPINION: an incisive and tonic vintage, very energetic. Beautiful aromatic richness. It deserves to be kept for a while in the cellar.
- Nose: intense. Aromas of nuts, raisins, candied citrus fruits with a hint of morel.
- Palate: tonic and salivating. Long finish with candied citrus fruits.
Tasting date: March 2023.
