The wine reveals with an elegant style intense aromas of blueberry juice, blackcurrant, and violet flowers. The palate is powerful, charming, with round tannins and a long and floral finish. Delicious!
The Corton Grand Cru designation is divided between the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny and Pernand-Vergelesses and the wine production mainly consists of red wines, the white wines representing only 2,4 ha out of a total of 100 ha. The Grands Crus of Corton are generally strong, intense, and fruity wines, with a very high cellar potential. The Corton Grand Cru of the domaine d’Ardhuy is made of vines planted on the few sloping and South exposed plot "Les Pougets", where the poor soil gives to the grapes concentrated fragrances.

Nous sommes ici en présence d’un Corton riche sans être trop corpulent. Ses arômes restent élégants et fruités. Encore jeune, il réalise des accords savoureux avec une côte de bœuf sauce marchand de vin ou encore un coq au vin avec une sauce riche.
Vieilli, il deviendra un vin d’automne et le partenaire privilégié des gibiers à poils cuisinés en civet.
Pour terminer le repas, on pourra lui présenter un vieux gruyère, ou un comté réserve affiné pendant plus de trente mois en cave.
