Alsace is one of the most enchanting wine-growing regions in the world, with beautiful flower-filled villages that bear witness to the prosperity of the wine-growers in the 15th and 16th centuries, when Alsatian wines were exported throughout Europe.
Alsace wines are not governed by the same statutes as other French wines. There are only three designations: one for the varietal wines, one for the 'grands crus' and a third for the crémant d'Alsace.

OUR OPINION: the aromatic persistence of this grand cru is impressive, this wine is superb because it has a beautiful tension.
