With its majestic waltz of fragrances of rose oil, abricot-blossom, lychees and exotic fruits, this vin doux naturel is a real pleasure in mouth, with a sweetness well-balanced by a delicate acidity and a great persistency.
This vin doux naturel is made from forty years old Muscat d’Alexandrie vines that benefit from the same soils than those giving birth to « Terroir Mailloles » wines : the famous terraces of red günz with the round pebbles. The harvests are manual, involving successive selection of grapes. The yield did not exceed 18 hl/ha. The grapes macerated for a few hours before an alcoolic fermentation of ten days that is stopped by adding alcohol.

La beauté des parfums du Muscat de Rivesaltes est une invitation à le savourer seul. En apéritif, il sera un superbe prélude à un repas. Il est également très agréable sur un melon très mûr servi frais, ou sur des desserts à base de fruits exotiques comme l’ananas ou la mangue.
Les plats salés sont également une belle façon d’accompagner un vin sucré par un mélange sucré-salé. Il fera chanter une pastilla au pigeon, un tajine au citrons confits, une cannette au miel et aux pommes ; ou un soufflé au bleu.a
