The wine LES PINS is a blend of a majority of Marsanne and of Roussanne. The vines are about 35 years old and provide a yield of 45 hl / ha.
The plots of the GRIPA estate in the Saint-Péray designation are located in the locality called Les Putiers, where the terroir presents two types of recently formed soil :
The grapes are harvested manually and slowly pressed. The juice is then left in tanks for a short settling period, before being racked, for 80% of the must in oak barrels, and for the remaining 20% in thermoregulated tanks.
Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the must is matured on its fine lees in 600 and 228 liter barrels until the end of the malolactic fermentation : the ageing phase lasts around 8 months.
Bottling is done in May of the year following the harvest's one.
