Terroir

LOCATION: Blend of 4 parcels:

  • Malacare, South-West exposure, at approximately 310-350 m altitude. Its generous sunshine makes it the domain's earliest-ripening site.

  • The Poudrière parcel, South exposure, sits at the lowest altitude of the estate in a warm, dry surface area. However, underground water reserves ensure vital hydration for the vines.

  • The Le Claux parcel, situated at 300-350 meters altitude with East-North-East exposure. One of the estate's latest-ripening sites, where grapes mature slowly.

  • The La Roque parcel, located at 360 m altitude with full South exposure.

SOIL:

  • At Malacare: stratified conglomerate soil with pebbles embedded in marls and sands dating from the CONTINENTAL TORTONIAN period.

  • At Poudrière: sand-based soil from the HELVETIAN period, varying between marly and molassique according to the sector.

  • At Le Claux: identical soil profile to Malacare.

  • At La Roque: soil dating from the QUATERNARY period composed of Cretaceous limestone and flint, red clay loam, sand, and molassique rock fragments.
This lieu-dit resembles a small gravel island amidst vast sandy stretches.

Viticulture & Vinification

Sommelier's Note

"Here is a masterly blend of Southern grape varieties displaying remarkable complexity! The nose is generously aromatic, where citrus fruits mingle with delicate hints of fennel and star anise. On the palate, it delivers a smooth, savory texture with long-lasting flavor persistence on the finish. A delightful white wine that is both beautifully balanced and deeply refreshing!"
