the parcels are spread over the town of Bédarrides, Châteauneuf-du-pape and Sorgues, with very varied soils where we find the molassic red sandstone, the quartzite pebbles and the fossiliferous micaceous sand of the Crau and Piedlong (recent geological formations of -3 million years), but also older soils dating from the lower Cretaceous (-120 million years) and composed of clay limestones and limestone gray flint.
Such a variety as much in the vineyard as in terms of terroir gives the wine generous aromas and a well-balanced body.
The cuvée TELEGRAMME is a blend wine with a majority of Grenache. The grapes used in its elaboration come from the estate young vines, most of which are under 30 years old, and from the older vines, which are not located on the Crau plateaux and in Piedlong.
The vines are cultivated in accordance with the sustainable viticulture rules: use of organic manure and traditional ploughing, green harvest and leaf removal during the summer. The treatments applied in the vineyard are those authorized in Organic Farming.
The grapes are harvested manually, sorted twice in the vineyard and a third time in the cellar, then totally destemmed. The fermentation is traditional, it takes place in vats and the skin maceration lasts about 25 to 30 days. The must is then racked in 30 to 60-hl French oak tunes for approximately 15 to 16 months.
When the ageing phase is over, the must is then racked and bottle without any fining or filtration processes.
