The color is pale yellow, the nose expressive and very aromatic. The scents of passion fruit mingle with those of citrus, quince and mango. In the mouth, the attack is tasty and tense by a nice acidity. The finish is long and persistent. Very well-balanced wine, only pleasure!

The cuvée Les Déronnières is a parcel's wine made from 60 years old Chenin vines. The plots of the locality Les Déronnières are on a soil of siliceous pebbles and gravel dating from the Upper Eocene (geological layer formed 35 million years ago) and flint-clays resulting from the alteration of the Turonian formations (upper Cretaceous geologic stage formed 91 million years ago). They are most often very sandy clays strongly colored in red by the iron oxides which envelop dark brown, gray and black flints. The bedrock consists of micaceous chalk (tufa) used to build most of the Touraine's monuments and castles. It ensures an excellent rainwater's drainage.
On this exceptional terroir, the Chenin bunches become ripe very early due to the presence of gravel and flints that restore the heat stored during the day.
The harvest is therefore early (mid-September 2017), the grapes are sorted in the vineyard first, and then in the winery (three sorts). The fermentation is slow, it takes place with indigenous yeasts. The must is then aged on lees in conical casks for 4 to 5 months and filtered before bottling.
This wine offers a perfect balance, combining sweetness and freshness, a very beautilful wine!
