The picturesque wine-producing villages between the Rhône and the Spanish border are undergoing a revival. Instead of trying to make pale imitations of the famous wines of Bordeaux or Burgundy, the winegrowers of the Midi have decided to raise their heads and produce their own grands crus. Today, wine lovers all over the world are snatching up the wines of the best estates in the Languedoc and Roussillon.
And it is not by chance...
- Nose: intense. Aromas of stewed red and black fruits such as raspberry and blackcurrant, with a hint of chocolate and Espelette pepper.
- Palate: round and tasty attack with a touch of cinnamon on the finish.

OUR OPINION: excellent banyuls on the fresh fruit thanks to its short ageing, it is tonic and tasty!
- Nose: powerful. Intense notes of cocoa, roasted coffee, sultanas and candied fruit.
- Palate: tasty and very fragrant.

OUR OPINION: aged in an oxidative environment, this Banyuls Reserva is a real delicacy, rich in chocolate and roasted aromas, it is a very nice companion for vegan meals!
- Color: amber.
- Nose: nut, sultana, candied fruit and prune aromas.
- Palate: warm and fragrant.

OUR OPINION: rancio wines are rare. The oxidative ageing in solera gives it the nutty and raisiny aromas typical of rancio wines, it is beautiful and good!
- Color: gold.
- Nose: aromas of candied citrus peel (mandarin & orange), raisins and a bit of walnut.
- Palate: tasty and silky.

OUR OPINION: superb oxidative wine with seductive notes of candied citrus fruits, it is very pleasant!
- Nose: intense and tasty. Notes of quince paste, honey and candied pear.
- Palate: round and tasty, with a nice acidity that brings a nice tension to the wine.

OUR OPINION: for the gourmand! It is a nice sweet wine, tasty, perfumed, and without any heaviness!
- Nose: intense. Aromas of cocoa, bitter orange, very ripe black cherry, blackcurrant, with a hint of spice (cinnamon, ginger).
- Palate: soft, pleasantly fragrant and tasty.

OUR OPINION: this Banyuls rimage is said to be of late bottling because it matured in casks for 15 months, during which it gains in complexity and aromatic richness. Its candied fruit aromas are a delight!
- Nose: fresh and lively. Aromas of white flowers, lychee, white peach and aniseed.
- Palate: supple attack. Ample, round and perfumed juice. Nice aniseed finish.

OUR OPINION: a pretty Mediterranean white with aniseed flavours evoking the seaside and the sweetness of life!
- Nose: rich and powerful. Aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant and dark chocolate, with a hint of menthol and bay leaf.
- Palate: Dense and structured. Fine tannins, light woody finish.

OUR OPINION: a very fine wine for laying down, dense and rich, which will develop very fine tertiary aromas over time!
- Nose: fresh. Aromas of fresh red fruits, slightly mentholated notes with a hint of coffee.
- Palate: supple attack. Silky tannins.

OUR OPINION: a very spring-like wine that offers a very fresh juice. Perfect for a meal with friends!
- Nose: fruity and tasty. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, with a touch of vanilla, coffee and black pepper.
- Palate: silky and intensely fragrant, enveloping.
