The Côte des Blancs is an area of Champagne whose name testifies to the unquestionable reign of Chardonnay, a white grape variety that flourishes on soils composed of sand and clay on chalky subsoil. Further south, however, around the village of Vertus, the Pinot Noir is close to the Chardonnay on the podium of king grape varieties, without dethroning it, since almost all the champagnes of the Côte des Blancs are made from Chardonnay only, the most qualitative of which come from the six villages of the Côte des Blancs classified as Grand-Cru (Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Oiry)
- Nose: intense aromas of candied fruits, currants, rancio and leaven.
- Palate: sweet and generous, with flavors of honey.
Tasting date: October 2019.
OUR OPINION: Sweet and generous in the palate, with flavors of honey, the champagne is surprisingly lively with a beautiful and a long finish. Its vigour gives us the feeling the wine is less sweet that it is actually. Rare and beautiful, this champagne is perfect for celebration of happy events.

Pinot Noir (100%)
Beautiful scented nose with currants notes mixed with pleasant aromas of nuts. Tasty and full in the palate, with delicate fragrances of candied fruits and mirabelle plum. Perfect balance between acidity and sugar that gives the wine liqueur freshness and elegance.
