LOCATION: Clos du Roy plot, which formerly belonged to the Duchy of Burgundy and bore the name "Clos des Ducs". It was renamed "Clos du Roy" in 1477 following the Battle of Nancy. This terroir has always been renowned for the excellence of its wines.
