LOCATION: Domaine Maillard generally blends grapes from three main communes of the Côte de Beaune for this regional cuvée:
EXPOSURE: Multiple.
TERROIR : These are predominantly clay-limestone plain soils. Clay is more present here than on the upper slopes, allowing the Pinot Noir to express its luscious and fleshy side.

WINEMAKING: The grapes macerate in vats for 12 to 15 days with gentle extraction via 1 or 2 daily punch-downs (pigeages). At the end of fermentation, the juice is racked into tanks for a few days of settling (débourbage).
AGING: 18 months in 228-liter barrels, with 25% new oak.
BOTTLING: No fining. Bottled after light filtration.
CLOSURE: Natural cork.
"This regional Pinot Noir keeps all its promises: freshness and luscious fruit are front and center, much to our delight!"
