Champagne is divided into five zones, each with its own natural conditions and a specific grape variety. Among these five zones, we find the Côte des Bar, whose soils are essentially composed of Kimmeridgian clay. The grape variety is mainly composed of pinot noir, and a little chardonnay and pinot meunier.
