VINE AGE: 70 years.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Grenache noir (65%) - Mourvèdre (15%) - Syrah (15%) - Cinsault - divers (5%).

LOCATION: La Crau plateau, a stony plateau of recent geological formation dating from the MIOCENE, PLIOCENE and QUATERNARY periods.

SOILS: red sandstone known as "du Comtat" / molasses sand & sandstone / quartzite pebbles / fossiliferous micaceous sands from the Pliocene.

Viticulture & Winemaking

HARVEST:manual.

YIELD: N/A.

SORTING: twice in the vineyard and a third time at the winery.

WINEMAKING: traditional. Light crushing, partial destemming, maceration for 30 to 40 days in stainless steel and wooden vats under temperature control.

AGING: 20 to 22 months in 60 hl French oak foudres.

BOTTLING: without fining or filtration.

CORK: natural cork.
