Terroir

YEAR VINES PLANTED: 1980.

LOCATION: A blend of parcels situated on the Béru hill. The varied exposures and occasional outcropping rocks yield a comprehensive expression typical of the Béru terroir.

ORIENTATION: Multiple.

TERROIR: Soils dating back to the KIMMERIDGIAN age, alternating between marly and limestone outcroppings depending on the parcel.

Viticulture & Vinification

HARVEST: Manual.

YIELD: N/A.

SORTING: In the vineyard and at the winery.

VINIFICATION: Pressing of the grapes and vat fermentation. Use of indigenous yeasts.

AGEING: 18 months on fine lees in oak barrels, with 10% in stainless steel vats.

BOTTLING: Unfined and unfiltered. No added sulfites.

CORK: Natural cork.
