Domaine des CARABINIERS - Vallée du Rhône

Located in Roquemaure, this former place of control for the italian guards called "carabiniéri", in charge of supervising the territory occupied by the popes in the 14th century, was later transformed into an inn able to accommodate harness.

In 1920, the owners of this place, who were growing vines, developed their cellar in the old stable walls, adopting as emblem the horse that we can see on all the labels of the bottles: the "domaine des Carabiniers" was born.

Since 1997, the estate has been running according the Biodynamic principles: the wines are Demeter certified in order to respect the qualities of the terroir needed to the production of fine wines.
